If you are on long term medication the doctor may arrange for you to obtain repeat prescriptions without consultation.
Method
Please allow 48 hours, excluding weekends and Bank Holidays, for your request to be processed. Any problems please telephone the surgery.
From time to time you may require a prescription which we do not put on the repeat system. Leave a message with the receptionist who will pass this to a GP. You may be left a prescription or the doctor may ask to see you or simply leave some advice. If a request is made after 12 noon these prescriptions can only be collected over the following 48 hours
Patients on repeat medication will be asked to see a doctor, nurse practitioner or practice nurse at least once a year to review these regular medications and notification should appear on your repeat slip. Please ensure that you book an appropriate appointment to avoid unnecessary delays to further prescriptions.
